Casual Ministry Support Role (6-Month Term)

8–12 flexible hours/week | Toongabbie Anglican Church

We’re looking for a proactive, organised individual to help support and coordinate several key ministry areas at Toongabbie Anglican Church over a 6-month period.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating our SRE (Scripture) program

• Oversight of ToonieKids@Play, with a focus on connection and next steps for families

• Providing support for outreach courses (logistics and follow-up)

• Assisting with planning and sharing the load for church-wide events

• General admin and ministry assistance (especially to the Senior Minister)

This is a casual role (under the Clerks Award) with flexible hours (8–12 hours/week). The role is expected to run for 6 months only.

Student Ministry Position

We are offering a paid student ministry position for 2026.

We have a wide range of opportunities for student ministers to explore to complement their studies. This particular next 12 months includes a year of discerning for our church as we articulate who we are and where we are headed. We have seen significant growth as a multi-ethnic church and there are incredible opportunities still to explore. The role includes fortnightly training through a wide range of practical and theological aspects of church ministry.
